What Is an AI Avatar?

Imagine a digital spokesperson that listens, thinks, and replies. Exhibitry’s avatars deliver a unique holographic experience for public spaces, exhibits, and branded environments.

Conversational AI Avatars

Holographic AI avatars represent a new frontier in audience engagement—life-size, responsive characters that speak, listen, and adapt in real time.

Unlike traditional displays or linear video, these avatars simulate genuine conversation. Visitors ask questions and receive natural, personalized answers—delivered with voice, gesture, and expression.

At Exhibitry, we use AI thoughtfully—to power experiences that were never possible before. While we work with advanced technology, every project is shaped by human creativity, intentional design, and carefully crafted content.

America’s Founders - AI Driven Avatar Series

Built for your Story

Custom AI Avatars from Exhibitry are designed to match your message, audience, and environment.

Photo-real avatars use facial synthesis and voice modeling to create a lifelike human presence. Animated avatars feature stylized or semi-realistic characters with full voice interactivity. Pre-recorded hosts use scripted video to deliver structured, touch-driven experiences—no AI required.

And sometimes, we combine all three approaches to create uniquely tailored experiences that balance precision, personality, and real-time responsiveness.

We speak your language

Exhibitry avatars are built to engage diverse audiences—supporting multiple languages, regional dialects, and cultural nuance. Whether greeting international visitors, guiding guests in their preferred language, or switching seamlessly between audiences, our avatars are designed to connect clearly, naturally, and inclusively.

Language options can be selected via voice command, touchscreen menu, or customized logic based on setting or location.

Voice, Touch, or Both

Not every space is built for voice interaction—and not every story fits a script. That’s why Exhibitry avatars can be activated through voice interaction, touchscreen menus, or both.

In some cases, we create fully scripted, non-AI avatars—ideal for historical accuracy or tightly curated messaging—where visitors trigger pre-recorded responses via touchscreen.

Whether it’s a quiet gallery, a bustling event, or a multilingual environment, we tailor the interface to the needs of your visitors and your message.

Control, Security, and Content Integrity

We design every AI avatar experience with guardrails in place. Unlike open-ended AI tools, our systems operate within curated knowledge bases or scripted structures—ensuring consistent, brand-safe messaging every time.

Whether powered by live AI or pre-programmed responses, each interaction is intentional, secure, and aligned with your goals. Sensitive topics, compliance boundaries, and multilingual accuracy are all managed through a controlled production process.

Corporate Storytelling

Real Doctors. Real Patients. Real-Time AI.

For a global pharmaceutical company, Exhibitry created photo-realistic AI avatars based on real physicians and patients. Captured in a studio environment, each shared their medical expertise or personal experience with a life-changing treatment.

At the trade show exhibit, visitors engage in real-time, voice-driven conversations with these avatars—asking questions and receiving natural, informative responses. The experience blends authenticity with advanced AI to create a powerful, human-centered interaction.

Higher Education

AI-Enhanced Storytelling at Purdue University

Purdue University commissioned Exhibitry to create lifelike, AI avatars of iconic alumni—including Amelia Earhart and Neil Armstrong—as part of a permanent campus installation. Using a hybrid process that combined live performance capture with facial modeling and expressive animation, each avatar was brought to life with historical depth and emotional resonance.

The avatars are part of a larger animated installation that anchors the building’s central lobby, presenting cinematic narratives that connect Purdue’s past to its present. By blending cultural storytelling with cutting-edge AI, the installation offers a meaningful and memorable way to encounter university history.

Museum Engagement

Non-AI Conversational Astronauts

Not all conversational avatars require AI. Exhibitry created a series of interactive HoloTube exhibits for the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, allowing guests to engage with photo-realistic holographic avatars of Apollo astronauts. Using pre-recorded answers triggered by touchscreen input, visitors can explore mission stories, personal memories, and even interact with holographic objects like cassette players and lunar equipment - no AI required.

The avatars—featuring real video of Jim Lovell, Charlie Duke, Jack Schmitt, and Al Worden—offer a curated conversational experience that brings historic figures to life in a way that’s both personal and educational. It’s a blend of interpretation, immersion, and authenticity designed to resonate with every generation of space enthusiast.

Enterprise Solution

AI Onboarding for the City of the Future

Exhibitry collaborated on life-size holographic avatars to support employee orientation for The Line, Saudi Arabia’s groundbreaking smart city project. Installed in a private experience center, the photo-realistic avatar greets new hires, answers common questions, and shares key cultural and operational information—all through natural, real-time voice interaction.

Powered by Exhibitry’s HoloTube platform, the avatar delivers consistent messaging in multiple languages while creating a personalized, human-scale welcome. Designed for flexibility and clarity, it offers a futuristic first impression—fitting for one of the world’s most visionary environments.

Public Interpretation

Authentic Voices from the Flight Deck

For the Naval Aviation Museum in Pensacola, Exhibitry created a series of interactive holograms featuring real U.S. Navy sailors sharing their personal stories. Each avatar represents a key role on the aircraft carrier’s flight deck, brought to life with photo-realistic visuals and first-person narration.

Visitors engage in real-time Q&A with the sailors and explore 3D holographic objects—such as helmets, safety gear, and other tools used on the flight deck. These artifacts appear in midair, triggered by conversation and touch, offering a tactile layer of interpretation to the personal stories being told.

The result is an immersive experience that blends authenticity, education, and emotional connection—bringing visitors closer to the lives, risks, and dedication of those who serve at sea.
